'Sirius IV'

This Seaward 25, built in 1999, is a superb little sea boat and the brand's reputation speaks for itself. Powered by economical twin Yanmar 125hp diesel engines, she is extremely well equipped with loads of extras. Sirius IV has had two previous West Country owners and believe she is in excellent order. Viewing is strongly recommended.

Designer: Arthur Mursell, TT Boat Designs, Isle of Wight.

Builder: Seaward Marine Ltd, Guernsey. Year: 1999

Construction: G.R.P. with teak joinery.

Mechanical Data: 2 x 4 cylinder 125 hp Yanmar marine diesel engines fitted with 2:1 Hurth hydraulic gearboxes driving 2 x 4 blade contra rotating propellers on 35 mm diameter stainless steel shafts giving maximum speed of 25 knots. Twin cast bronze rudders are fitted along with hydraulic trim tabs and indicators. Fuel consumption at 15 knots is approximately. 2.0 gallons per hour per engine. Fuel tank level indicators fitted.

Extras: In addition to the equipment included with the standard Seaward 25 specification, this craft has the following optional extras fitted:-

Remarks: The Seaward 25's have proven seakeeping qualities and are probably the most sea kindly vessels in this size range. Engines last serviced in July 2007, shaft seals re-newed in July 2007, new batteries replaced in 2007 and 2008. Epoxy and 'Copperbot' antifouling professionally appled and new anodes replaced in 2008.
